Enertopia (CSE:ENRT) reports highest lithium assay to date

Enertopia Corp. (ENRT) provided an update on drilling at its West Tonopah Lithium project in Nevada.

The Kelowna-based company reported results from the first five holes of the 12-hole 2023 drilling program.

The first drill hole, DH23-01, recorded the highest lithium assay reported to date from the West Tonopah project intersecting 1,520 ppm Li over 1.5 metres, inside a larger zone that averaged 1,029 ppm Li over a 33.5 metre thickness, from 74 metres to 107.5 metres in depth.

The company said the program is focusing on drilling holes into the known areas of the higher-grade upper claystone horizon, which spans roughly 2.5 sq. km.

As the team gets a better understanding of the lithium claystone deposit, a steady stream of news and advancements is expected this year, not only from Enertopia but also from other companies operating in the immediate area as work progresses.

“We are very encouraged by the recent drilling programs taking place near our property boundary including American Battery Technology Company who recently released their 43-101 with an inferred resource of 15.3 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent using a 300 ppm li cutoff with an average grade of 561 ppm li,” said Enertopia’s President, Robert McAllister.

Enertopia is an environmental solutions company that uses modern technology to extract lithium and verifies and sources other intellectual property in the electric vehicle and green technology industries.

Enertopia Corp. (ENRT) opened trading at $0.04 per share.
