Rusal intends to build a plant for the production of auto disks in Uzbekistan

The Russian company Rusal plans to build a plant for the production of car wheels in Uzbekistan, Vladislav Vasilyev, director of the department of metallurgy and materials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, said at a panel session of the Innoprom. Central Asia in Tashkent.

According to Vasiliev, Rusal Group of Companies is currently discussing the construction of a joint venture for the production of aluminum solid wheels for the automotive industry in Uzbekistan.

He noted that Uzbekistan has large automakers, and the proposed products will be in great demand within the country, as well as have an export potential in terms of aluminum wheels.
